New terrain is opening all the time and much more to report than before: At Golden Peak, the River Bahn Express is now open with blue tracks like Ranger Racoon, Ruder’s Run, plus Northwoods Express now running with access to black tracks North and South Rim , Primer Paso, Prima, Gandy Dance and Estrella del Norte. Also open at the top are Snag Park & Northwoods. The Cascade Village elevator is now operational for those who need access from Cascade Village and Aria Club and Spa. On the Lionshead side, many more races open up, including Simba, Bwana, Pride, Safari, and Minnie’s. From the Game Creek Express lift you can access The Woods, baccarat, Dealers’ Choice blues and the Lost Boy green run. From Wildwood Express, try Kangaroo Cornice, Challenge, or S. Look Ma, black racing, or blue Hunky Dory. With the Mountain Top Express open, you can tour Whistle Pig, Espresso, Cappucino, Swingsville, and Christmas. Wildwood Express. Now a total of 78 trails and 14 lifts open.
Breckenridge, Colorado, United States
For the advanced skier, the T-bar has been opened up with black Pika, Ptarmigan and Forget-me-not and White Crown slopes. Contest Bowl is now ready for action as well. For intermediate skiers, Breck has now opened up Peak 7 with the Pioneer, Monte Cristo, Angels Rest and Fort Mary B blue runs now open. At Peak 8 and 9, most of the blue and green runs are already open, including the Briar Rose blue run at Peak 9. Peak 8 also has most of its blue and black runs ready for skiers. Overall, 14 lifts are in operation with access to 46 trails, covered in new snow in recent days.
Beaver Creek, Colorado, United States
At Beaver Creek, a total of 14 lifts and 45 runs are now operational. Bachelor Gulch has the Grubstake and Gunder blue runs open, in addition to the Sawbuck, Intertwine and Cabin Fever green runs. There are 27 open runs on Beaver Creek Main Mountain offering green, blue or black run options for skiers. Open black runs include Fool’s Gold, Addy’s, Half Hitch, Double Diamond, and Centennial Spruce and Willey’s Face. The Drink of Water lift is open with the Booth Gardens, Powell and Mystic Garden green slope open in the Family Ski Zone. From the Rose Bowl lift, the Cataract, Spider, and Ripsaw black slopes are open along with the C-prime and Stone Creek Meadows blue slopes. The Nastar course is ready for those who want some racing action!
Steamboat Springs, Colorado, United States
Steamboat has opened more lifts with the Thunderhead Express, 4 Points and Storm Peak Express and now has 8 working lifts. From the Thunderhead lift, try the Vagabond or Betwixt blue slopes. Bashor is open and gives skiers and bikers access to the Terrain Park, but not yet to the Superpipe or Nastar course. From the top of the Storm Peak Express, zip down the blue Buddy’s Run, Calf Roper and Meadow Lane runs or try your luck on the black Storm Peak South run. Try the black Cyclone or Hurrican with 4 points.
Winter Park, Colorado, USA
Winter Park has now opened up a few runs on Mary Jane Mountain, including the Mary Jane Trail and Lower Arrowhead. Winter Park Mountain has most of its blue and green trails open, including Lonesome Whistle, Whistlestop, Switchyard, and Mock Turtle, which just opened in the last few days, plus Tweedle Dee, Butch’s Breezeway, Jack Kendrick, and Jabberwocky. Overall 30 trails open and 12 lifts with the Olympia and High Lonesome lift now open on the Winter Park side and the Pony Express and Super Gauge main lift now open on the Mary Jane side
