Are you a medical misfit? – Have you seen numerous doctors, tried dozens of medications, supplements and therapies for fibromyalgia and still suffer? Because you have a disease that is difficult to “test,” your loved ones, even doctors may label you lazy, crazy, or depressed. They may tell you, “It’s all in your head.” They may ask you to exercise or lose weight, take antidepressants (you’re just depressed), or see a psychiatrist.
Doctors, if they believe conditions exist, and many do not, try to mask the symptoms with one prescription drug after another. Patients often end up on a medical merry-go-round, seeing one doctor after another, taking an endless mix of potentially dangerous, life-draining drugs (remember Vioxx).
Medicines to sleep, medicines to wake you up, pain pills, mood medicines (for the side effects of medicines for sleep), muscle relaxants, sedatives (to calm you down), medicines for IBS, reflux , SPI, ADD, it just never ends. And each new drug creates additional side effect symptoms that must then be treated with additional drugs…
Patients end up more confused and disoriented than ever, often concluding, “Maybe I’m crazy after all.”
Two words. I understand. For most of the world, it’s a common little phrase. But for people who have fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome (or both), it’s incredibly powerful, not to mention rare.
I understand what you’re going through. I really do. I get it because I have been specializing in treating and beating fibromyalgia for the past 14 years. You see, this is my life’s work, helping medical misfits with fibromyalgia that no one else wants to help. I’m sorry but it’s true. Most of the doctors I talk to don’t believe there is such a thing as fibromyalgia.
They don’t believe fibromyalgia exists because they don’t know what to recommend, everything they try fails, drug after drug. So they do what doctors do when we can’t help it: refer you to one doctor after another.
You can feel better! Certain medications actually make fibromyalgia symptoms worse. Knowing which ones to take and which ones not to take can make a big difference. Most doctors don’t know this information; they are happy to trust the marketing propaganda of pharmaceutical companies and their sales representatives who compete for the attention of doctors by providing endless amounts of cash, gifts, dinners, and trips.
I know how this works first hand. In my medical practice, drug reps would show up en masse every day with lunch, theater tickets, dinner invitations, even cash ($250-$400, paid for attending “educational dinners” at restaurants in 4 stars). They knew down to the last pill which ones and how many prescriptions we had written in the last month. They did everything they could to harass us into prescribing their latest biggest drug.
I have successfully treated thousands of patients in the last 13 years. I was the owner and clinical director of a comprehensive medical practice, using a combination of nutritional and prescription therapies to successfully treat FMS and CFS. I was able to witness firsthand the positive and negative aspects of drug therapy.
We used every drug we could find to beat fibromyalgia: Ambien, Elavil, Klonopin, Cymbalta, SSRI antidepressants, Effexor, Lunesta, Mirapex, pain relievers, Neurontin, Lyrica, and dozens of others, all failed to provide lasting relief from fibromyalgia symptoms. fibromyalgia What’s worse, most of the medications had side effects that made fibromyalgia symptoms even worse.
I have researched and implemented numerous therapies over the years. Keep what works, discard what doesn’t. For the past 8 years I have been using specially developed nutritional protocols known as the Fibromyalgia Jump Start program.
My Fibromyalgia Jump Start Program often produces rapid results (in a matter of days) without drug therapy. Irritable bowel syndrome, a common condition associated with FMS, usually clears up within 2-4 weeks of starting my program.
Deep restful sleep, the key to recovery, is often achieved within a few days, without medication.
I know you’ve been to numerous doctors, taken a variety of prescription drugs, trendy supplements, a vitamin a day, and the latest multi-level herbal remedy, which promised to cure everything from warts to AIDS. None of them made a difference. No relief, no change, just more money down the drain. Meanwhile, you continue to feel worse each month as your life falls apart. I read these magazine ads about magical remedies for fibromyalgia. I wish they were true, but it just doesn’t work that way.
Listen, there is no magic pill, massage therapy, acupuncture, detox program, colon cleanse, Candida treatment, parasite remedy, chiropractic adjustment, or medication that will defeat fibromyalgia. If there was, I wouldn’t be writing this article, you’d be fine.
I know you often feel frustrated and maybe even doomed to a life of despair after seeing your local rheumatologist who makes you wait 3 months for him to see you, then spends 1-2 hours in his waiting room and 10 hours go by. minutes with you and then tell you to try another mind numbing drug and come back in 3 months? I understand.
Over the past few years I have successfully treated thousands of patients with high doses of certain vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other nutrients. This approach is known as orthomolecular medicine. It is based solely on biochemistry, using the correct chemicals inherently natural to the body for optimal function. This approach is the cornerstone of my successful Fibromyalgia Jump Start program.
In short, by using the natural building blocks or nutrients that make up a person’s normal biochemistry, you can drastically correct or improve, even reverse, the cause of disease.
Nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, are what make the hormones that regulate the body. Every essential chemical in the body, including thyroid hormone, testosterone, estrogen, neurotransmitters (serotonin, norepinephrine, etc.), antibodies, adrenaline, cortisol, and white blood cells, are made of vitamins, minerals, acids essential fats and amino acids. .
Nutritional deficiencies are common among patients with FMS and CFS. I found that high-dose orthomolecular medicine can consistently correct these deficiencies. Once corrected, a person becomes healthier and healthier until their FMS or CFS disappears or greatly improves.
Clearly, the program that corrects the cause of fibromyalgia is superior to one that just tries to cover up the symptoms. Why continue to mop the kitchen floor after the storm, when you could just fix the leaky roof? Pharmaceutical companies don’t want you to fix the leaky ceiling, they’re happy to keep selling floor cleaners, mops, and buckets for the rest of your life. And the rheumatologist is happy to have a waiting list of patients he can’t help but who keep coming back month after month to try more and more useless drugs.
It’s time to start a new direction. One based on correcting the cause of fibromyalgia, not on covering up the myriad of symptoms that continue to worsen year after year.
