How To Fill An Air Wick Refill
There are two main types of refills for your air fresheners: the oil filled and the tapered wick. These are both easy to use and they have their own advantages and disadvantages. If you need an air freshener then your main consideration will be how much it costs, because the cost can add up over a long period of time depending on where you buy it from. Once you have made your decision, you need to choose what kind you want – an oil-filled or tapered wick.
Using an oil filled wick is easy to do. Put a few drops of your favorite essential oil into a medium sized bowl. Now carefully fill the bowl halfway with the oil and tilt the cup upside down. The essential oil will seep out of the sides of the cup and float on top of the wick.
This process usually only takes about 20 seconds and you will get a sufficient amount of spray for your purposes. Some users prefer to use the oil-filled air freshener as a daily routine because it eliminates the need to replace their essential oils. To make the process go faster you can simply do it once per week. Of course you should purchase a longer lasting bottle of air fresheners for this purpose.

Tapered wicks can also be used in air fresheners but they do require some additional steps to achieve better results. To refill these you need to take several smaller wicks and place them into one large wick. Then tape the larger wick to the base of your oil warmer.
You may find that you need more than one tapered refill when using essential oils. You should keep this in mind if you do not have extra air flow in your room. Next, you should put the smaller refill into the base of your oil warmer. You can then tape the long piece of tape to the upper portion of the long pipe that runs from the base to the plug-in assembly. The tape will prevent the air from leaving the container during the refill process.
In order to use these air fresheners you must be able to open the lid. You must also close the oil warmer in order to prevent evaporation. After using the oil warmer you should put the lid back on. You should follow the manufacturer’s directions in order to avoid having problems with the air fresheners. It is important to follow the instructions to prevent damage to the unit or your essential oils.
